The “Three Guys Named Mike” movie, released in 1951, was a romantic comedy that starred some of the most popular actors of the era.

The film featured Jane Wyman, Van Johnson, Howard Keel and Barry Sullivan in lead roles. Directed by Charles Walters, it told the story of a young woman named Marcy (played by Jane Wyman) who worked as a flight attendant for American Airlines.

She fell in love with three different men all named Mike during her travels.

Van Johnson played one of the Mikes, a charming artist who Marcy meets on a flight to Chicago. Howard Keel played another Mike, an arrogant businessman who was also on board that same flight.

Lastly, Barry Sullivan played the third Mike – he was a pilot and one of Marcy’s colleagues at work.
